First, a bit of background.
Pete was born and raised a few miles north of Syracuse. After living for a while in Texas and New York City, he was completely unimpressed by their levels of snow and moved back home. Pete is a history guy,
with Bachelor's in history from Hofstra University and a
Master's in museum science from Texas Tech University.
Pete is also a skilled craftsman, with a background in
construction, old home rehabilitations, and historic
preservation. What does one do with such a background -
become a home inspector - or - perhaps, a museum director.
For several years, Pete was the director of a great historic
New York City. You should really pay it a visit sometime.
Back in Syracuse, this experience came together to form Craftsman Home Inspection Service, named to highlight Pete's skills and experience, and also his favorite architectural style. Now in its seventh year of business, we specialize in old home inspections, though any age or style house is welcome.
Starting with a decade of construction and old home renovation experience, Pete joined the American Society of Home Inspectors, earned full certification, and currently sits as its educational coordinator and seminar planning chair for the Central New York chapter. Pete is also an approved NY state Home Inspector Instructor.
With over fifteen-hundred home inspections under his belt, a clean bill of health with the Better Business Bureau, and a file cabinet full of customer thank you letters, Pete would be pleased to let his experience, knowledge, and integrity work for you.
